The Specialist Outpatient Data Collection (SODC) is a monthly collection of patients who have had the initial specialist outpatient clinic appointment or were removed from the specialist outpatient clinic waiting list, or are waiting for the initial specialist outpatient clinic appointment, in one of 34 reporting public hospitals. The SODC collects demographic, service request and appointment information to meet Department of Health reporting requirements such as Service Agreement Key Performance Indicators.
