NH Wildlife Action Plan 2025 - Aquatic Habitat (Lakes/Ponds)

The objective of this project was to develop a mapped ecological classification of lakes and ponds. This classification was envisioned to represent the lakes and ponds using key variables that structure lacustrine natural communities that could be mapped consistently across all lakes and ponds in the region. These variables would be vetted and developed based on recommendations from a lake classification steering committee of experts from the northeast.
