Port Efficiency, Green Innovation, and Financial Governance in Chinese Listed Coastal Port Enterprises, 2010–2023: Data and Analysis Code

This repository contains the data and analysis code supporting the study of operational efficiency, green innovation, and financial governance in Chinese listed coastal port enterprises over 2010–2023. The dataset covers 10 listed port enterprises and 140 port-year observations. It includes the inputs and outputs used to estimate input-oriented CCR data envelopment analysis (DEA) efficiency, computed overall technical efficiency scores, and publicly distributable financial and governance variables. The accompanying Python scripts reproduce the principal DEA, second-stage regression, panel decomposition, and robustness analyses. Green invention-patent data were obtained from the CNRDS Green Patent Research Database and are subject to third-party access restrictions; these data are therefore not redistributed in this public repository. Instructions for obtaining and merging the CNRDS data are provided in the accompanying documentation.
