Feedback Data from Design Workshops with University Students + Expert Evaluation Results

<br>This dataset contains written feedback collected from industrial design students who participated in a design workshop held at the university on February 20, 2025, as part of the "Furniture Design Studio" course. The workshop was designed to empirically explore how concepts of entangled ethnography, thing ethnography, and neo-animism could be integrated into furniture design processes. Participants were a volunteer group of third- and fourth-year industrial design students with some experience in design practice (eight third-year students, four fourth-year students).<br><br>Data were collected through an open-ended feedback form administered to the students after the workshop. The questions aimed to understand the students' perceptions of the workshop process, their relationship with the concepts, and the impact of these approaches on their design thinking practices. The data was anonymized, and the identity of each participant was kept confidential.This package also includes expert evaluation results, where participants' design ideas were scored based on creativity criteria. These evaluations are based on expert opinions covering design dimensions such as novelty, value, and surprise.
