Sequencing of plasmid-dependent bacteriophages

In this project, we systematically searched for new plasmid-dependent bacteriophages using a targeted discovery platform (Phage DisCo). We isolated and sequenced phages that depend on plasmids of the IncF and IncP groups, in a variety of gram-negative hosts. Additionally, we performed metagenomic sequencing of the viral fraction of wastewater samples.
