Gut Microbiota of Subterranean and Surface Rodents

This dataset contains 16S rRNA gene sequencing data of gut microbiota from Nannospalax xanthodon (including chromosomal forms 2n=52 and 2n=60), Mus musculus, and Rattus rattus. Samples were collected from different ecological regions in Turkey to investigate how host genetics, habitat, and environmental conditions influence microbial community structure.
