Nuclear translocation of transcription factors in response to various stimuli. Qualitative assessment of transcription factor nuclear translocation following treatment with M-CSF, TGF-, LPS, IFN- or YM201636. Individual macrophages and their nuclei were computationally segmented to visualize nuclear localization of transcription factors. Nuclear translocation was categorized into three distinct patterns: negative [–] indicating no detectable nuclear accumulation, weakly positive [(+)] showing partial nuclear accumulation, and positive [+] demonstrating strong nuclear accumulation with distinct nuclear immunostaining.
