tAML whole exome sequencing. Homo sapiens

We applied next generation sequencing technique to analyze the exome of a childhood treatment-related AML (tAML) patient and report isolation of multiple novel mutations in genes not previously associated with AML in other studies. This study thus provides a cadre of potential biomarkers of AML and describes a novel combination of genetic lesions that has diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic implications in childhood tAML.
