RNA-seq study of Fusarium graminearum wild type and gip1 mutant at 3 days post-fertilization (dpf)

Gip1 is a non-pheromone receptor that spatiotemporally regulates two distinct sexual differentiation processes during perithecial development in the wheat scab fungus Fusarium graminearum. To identify genes that are transcriptionally regulated by GIP1 during sexual development in F. graminearum, we conducted RNA-seq analysis with RNA isolated from fungal biomass collected from mating cultures at 3-dpf.
