资源简介:
These data files contain surface dissolved oxygen (O2) concentration and dissolved oxygen/argon (O2/Ar) saturation ratio collected on the 2022 US (United States) Synoptic Arctic Survey Cruise in September and October 2022. The data are useful for understanding the balance of physical and biological controls driving surface ocean dissolved O2 concentrations and for calculating net biological community production rates. The data were collected with funding from National Science Foundation (NSF) Award 2053116 “Collaborative Research: Taking the Pulse of the Arctic Ocean - A US Contribution to the International Synoptic Arctic Survey” Data were collected between September 3rd 2022 and October 25th, 2022 from the surface science seawater supply of United States Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) Healy on Cruise ID HLY2202. Data were collected near-continuously using an equilibrated inlet mass spectrometer (EIMS) and an Aanderaa optode, with occasional outages for instrument maintenance or flow disruptions due to ice blockage of the underway seawater system. The cruise departed from Dutch Harbor, Alaska (AK) and disembarked in Dutch Harbor, AK and sampled waters of the Bering and Chukchi Seas, the Canada Basin up to the North Pole, and then a return path through the Makarov Basin before sampling the Chukchi Shelf again and returning to port.
