This calibration program is for obtaining STIS NUV MAMA Dark on a regular basis. The basic monitor takes two 1300s TIME-TAG darks bi-weekly. The pairs of exposures are linked so that they are taken about 6 hours apart in the same SAA free interval. This pairing of exposures will make it easier to separate long and short term temporal variability from temperature dependent changes.
