Environmental Regulation Intensity and Supply Chain Resilience: The Roles of Corporate Digital Transformation and Green Innovation

It examines the relationship between environmental regulation intensity and supply chain resilience through the lens of short-term compliance cost suppression and long-term innovation benefit release. A measurement model of supply chain resilience is developed, together with the measurement approaches for environmental regulation intensity, corporate digital transformation, and green innovation. A U-shaped effect model is established between environmental regulation intensity and supply chain resilience. Corporate digital transformation and green innovation are examined as mediating channels through which environmental regulation intensity exerts a nonlinear influence on supply chain resilience. The roles of financing constraints and corporate information spillovers in shaping this mechanism are analyzed, and heterogeneous effects across ownership types and firm sizes are also examined.
