New Road of the city of Matera to date

The published road map has been drawn up according to the new rules of "standardization and registration in extended form of place names". Specifically, each "road toponym" consists of the DUG species (generic urban designation) that identifies the type of circulation area (street, square, fence, alley, etc.) and the official name that may include prepositions not strictly related to the name of the toponym as gods, gods, etc. (e.g. VIALE DEL TULIPANO) or honorary titles for proper names (e.g. VIA GENERALE CARLO ALBERTO FROM THE CHURCH). The place name must be recorded in full, complete, distancing the words with a single space, without abbreviations, pointed elements, punctuation marks and spelling errors and with capital letters, regardless of how the name is reported in the relative municipal resolutions of toponymy.
