Dataset and Code for "The Geography of Evolving Concepts: Quantifying Spatial, Temporal, and Semantic Consequences of Ontology Changes"

This repository includes the data and code necessary to reproduce the results presented in the paper “The Geography of Evolving Concepts: Quantifying Spatial, Temporal, and Semantic Consequences of Ontology Changes”.The .geojson files contain the geographic features used in the experiments, sourced from Marine Regions and Global Islands Dataset.zones_ontology. ttl contains all RDF statements used to evaluate the impact of the maritime zone redefinition.island_ontology_sr.ttl contains all RDF statements used to evaluate the classification challenge between islands and rocks.sample_queries.ipynb provides all sample SPARQL queries and their results as presented in the paper.
