MAGIC: A Dataset Capturing Mid-Air Gesture Performance for Interaction and Feature Analysis

This dataset represents a subset of the MAGIC dataset, created for submission alongside the paper titled “MAGIC: A Dataset Capturing Mid-Air Gesture Performance for Interaction and Feature Analysis”. The full dataset totals approximately 1.2 TB in size, and due to storage, only a selected portion is included here, located in the folder Subset_of_Dataset.This subset includes five gestures: two selected from those with the lowest consistency, two from those with the highest, and one of intermediate consistency. These are thumb up, grab hand and move forward, show palm, swipe hand, and move apart thumb and index. The data are taken from six participants and include recordings from both the first and second phases of the study for one trial.The full dataset comprises recordings from 42 participants performing 18 gestures, with each gesture repeated multiple times.The analysis code used in the associated study is also provided in the folder Source_Code.
