ISABEL campaign - CPC dataset
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the dataset collected using a Condensation Particle Counter (CPC) and a sonic anemometer during the ISABEL (In-Situ Aerosol fluxes within the Boundary layer Experiment in an olive grove Landscape) campaign. This campaign took place from February 21, 2025 to May 26, 2025, at the Guadiana-UGR (37.91ºN, 3.23ºW, 370 m a.s.l.) rural station in southern Spain, within the framework of the INTEGRATYON3 project (PID2020-117825GB-C21 and PID2020-117825GB-C22), funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033. The primary focus of the campaign was to investigate and characterize aerosol particle turbulent fluxes in an olive field. The dataset includes the synchronized measurements of a TSI 3776 Ultrafine CPC and an R.M. Young 81000 3D ultrasonic anemometer. The anemometer was installed on top of a 10 m flux tower, leveled and aligned with the north, and it was configured to sample the three components of the wind (u, v, w), the speed of sound (SOS), and the sonic temperature (Ts) at 10 Hz. The instrument also recorded an error indicator (Error_ane). From February 21 to March 4, the SOS was not recorded. Thus, the header of the files for that period is "u, v, w, Ts, Error_ane", and from March 4 until the end of the campaign, the header is "u, v, w, SOS, Ts, Error_ane". The CPC was installed at surface level, but sampled the air next to the anemometer through a 10.5 m tube of 3.6 mm diameter, at around 12.5 L/min. The CPC recorded the particle counts and the particle concentration (in #particles/cm³) at a rate of 10 Hz. The header of the CPC files is "TIMESTAMP, count#1, count#2, count#3, count#4, count#5, count#6, count#7, count#8, count#9, count#10, conc.#1, conc.#2, conc.#3, conc.#4, conc.#5, conc.#6, conc.#7, conc.#8, conc.#9, conc.#10, Aux#1, Aux#2, Error_CPC", where each row is one second, and consequently, each count and concentration corresponds to each 0.1 s.
