Figure of a lion in front of Gobelsburg Castle. Originally, the lion from 1868 was located on the Aspern Bridge in Vienna, which was too weak for traffic due to its narrow width and was demolished. The bridge was decorated with allegorical figures and lions by the artist Franz Melnitzky. Two lions can be found today in the city Horn, two more in front of Gobelsburg Castle.
