TMDL Allocation Areas

This database enables the long-term maintenance, storage, and standardization of spatial data related to TMDL Reports. The primary purpose of the database is to house TMDL allocation areas and associated data. This allows the fast and efficient querying of what areas were assessed in past TMDLs and what areas have been assessed for specific pollutants. This ability allows for the efficient determination of what impaired waterbodies may be eligible for 4a recategorization, supports municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4), industrial stormwater (ISW), and construction stormwater (CSW) permit compliance, streamlines the identification of data gaps and priority areas for future TMDL development, and provides a centralized resource for tracking pollutant load reduction progress over time.
