Microbial community associated with a Bacillariophyta diatom culture Metagenome

This project investigates the bacterial microbiome associated with a laboratory culture of a Bacillariophyta diatom using shotgun metagenomic sequencing. Metagenomic data were generated to characterize the taxonomic composition and functional potential of the diatom-associated microbial community. High- and medium-quality metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) were reconstructed from the metagenomic dataset to provide genome-resolved insights into the microbial populations present in the culture.
