Field observations of the three dimensional wind velocity over a nebkha
收藏资源简介:
We set 15 sampling points along the centreline of the nebkha . Two 3D sonic anemometers (Gill-WindMaster) were used to collect the 3D velocity components (u, horizontal; v, spanwise; and w, vertical) at a sampling frequency of 10 Hz . One anemometer was buried in the surface sand to obtain wind velocities at 0.30 m height at each position.Another anemometer was mounted at 0.30 m height, 50 m upwind and 50 m to the side of the nebkha in a non-distorted environment. Both anemometers were aligned horizontally and parallel to the prevailing wind direction. The in this dataset were the raw observations. In this dataset, the data marked with 1 means that they are measured from the mobile anemometer. The data marked with 2 means that they are measured from the reference anemometer.
