Processing fluid in the laboratory diagnostics of PCV2 infections and the impact of sample pooling

Results of ELISA test from boar sera and their corresponding processing fluids, and from gilt sera in the form of optical density and sample to positive ratio regarding the detection of antibodies against porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2). Results of real-time PCR test from boar sera and their corresponding processing fluids, and from gilt sera in the form of Cycle treshold regarding the detection of DNA of PCV2. The impact of pooling of one processing fluid sample (low-, medium- and high-positive) with 4, 9, 19, 39 and 79 negative processing fluid samples on the ELISA results regarding PCV2. The impact of pooling one processing fluid sample (low-, medium- and high-positive) with 9, 19, 39, 79, 159 and 319 negative processing fluid samples on the real-time PCR results regarding PCV2 (Cycle treshold).
