The Sinopotamon chishuiense complete mitochondrial genome is a 17,311 bp, circular molecule, possessing the typical metazoan 13 protein coding genes (cox1-3, nad1-6, nad4L, cob, atp6 and atp8), 22 transfer RNA genes, and 2 ribosomal RNA genes and a control region. These are distributed with 23 genes on the majority-strand, and 14 on the minority-strand.The nearly complete S. wushanense mitochondrial genome is a 16,785 bp, linear molecule, possessing the typical metazoan 13 protein coding genes(cox1-3, nad1-6, nad4L, cob, atp6 and atp8), 21 transfer RNA genes, and 2 ribosomal RNA genes and a control region .
