资源简介:

This article explores the representation of good and evil forces in Uzbek folk tales through mythological figures such as the dev, jinn, ghost, angel, and fairy. Drawing on qualitative folkloristic analysis, the study examines how these characters function symbolically within narrative structures to convey moral values, ethical norms, and collective worldviews. The findings indicate that evil figures are associated with ignorance, violence, and moral disorder, whereas benevolent figures embody justice, purity, and spiritual guidance. The article argues that Uzbek folk tales operate as a cultural mechanism for moral education and the preservation of collective identity.
