Surface mass balance on Antarctic ice sheet (Coastal region) in JARE61

Observations of surface snow accumulation on the East Antarctic ice sheet were conducted as part of a monitoring program for assessing the surface mass balance of the ice sheet. During traverse between the Syowa station and coastal S16 point, surface snow accumulation and sea ice thickness has been measured.本数据集依托南极冰盖表面质量平衡监测计划生成，旨在支撑冰盖表面质量平衡评估工作，包含东南极冰盖（East Antarctic ice sheet）表面积雪积累量的实地观测数据。研究人员在昭和站（Syowa Station）至沿岸S16点的科考横穿航段中，同步完成了地表积雪积累量与海冰厚度的实地测量。
