Using transcriptomics to analyze RNA expression in field-grown potato plants grown under extremely long days

There are limited molecular data and few biomarkers available for studies of field-grown plants, especially for plants grown during extremely long days. We have analyzed transcriptomes of four potato cultivars grown in two different locations, one in northern and one in southern Sweden, to identify differences in mRNA abundance linked to longer days.
