The Vicugna pacos genome sequencing project is conducted by Inner Mongolia Agricultural University (IMAU) and BGI. The DNA extracted from blood sample of female Vicugna pacos and sequenced by using the Illumina HiSeq 2000 platform. The purpose of this project is to do a comparsion analysis of the camelid.
