This dataset provides monthly, Census tract-level measures of police enforcement activity—specifically arrests and 911 dispatches—for 82 U.S. cities between 2006 and 2013. The data were obtained through public records requests to local police departments, cleaned and geocoded to 2000 Census tracts, and aggregated to the tract-month level. For dispatch records, the data include counts of civilian-initiated 911 calls, officer-initiated events, and average response times. For arrest records, the data include total arrests and arrests of Hispanic individuals. This dataset enables high-resolution analysis of policing patterns and public safety at the neighborhood level.
