Uploaded here is the raw 16s sequencing data (fastq) for the study "Microbiome mediating methane and nitrogen transformations in a subterranean estuary". Greenhouse gas, nutrient and physicochemical raw data sets as well as the updated microbial abundance table (qiime2+silva pipeline) are appended. In this study, we characterize microbial communities driving greenhouse gas and nutrient transformations in a subtropical STE situated within the Great Barrier Reef catchment, Australia. Microbial and environmental samples were extracted from the STE's terrestrial (freshwater), mixing (brackish) and oceanic (saltwater) zones.
