Draft genome of Phytophthora meadii isolate Pm19

The oomycete Phytophthora meadii is a major pathogen of arecanut (Areca catechu L.) in India. P. meadii causes fruit rot/bud rot/crown rot diseases in arecanut, resulting in huge crop losses. A genome assembly for the isolate Pm19 was generated using Illumina and Nanopore sequencing data, and annotated with the support of transcriptome sequencing(RNA-seq) reads.
