资源简介:
The antagonistic effect of Bacillus cyclolipopeptide (LPs) has been extensively studied. Recent studies have shown that these lipopolysaccharides also contribute to typical phenotypic characteristics of Bacillus strains, including hemolytic activity, swarming movement, biofilm formation, and colony morphology. The genome of Bacillus licheniensis CPL618 contains fen, BAC, DHB and lchA4 NRPS gene clusters responsible for biosynthesis of Fengycin, Bacitracin, Bacillibactin and Lichenysin, respectively. In this study, one, two or three gene deletions of licheniformis 618 were constructed and used to study their antimicrobial activity and phenotypic characteristics. The results showed that Bacitracin was the main source of its antibacterial activity. Fengycin, Bacillibactin and Lichenysin have little effect on the antibacterial activity of Gram-positive bacteria, while Bacitracin plays an important role in the phenotypic characteristics of Bacillus licheniformis. In conclusion, BACILLUS licheniformis CPL618 produces four common antibiotics, which contribute to the phenotypic characteristics and antibacterial ability of BACILLUS licheniformis CPL618 in their own ways.
