This dataset has been developed by R.W. Vervoort, S.R. Cattle and B. Minasny using funding from the Australian Cotton CRC and its predecessor the CRC for Sustainable Cotton Production.
The dataset contains:
a) unsaturated hydraulic conductivities (K) at the 4 mid-points between the different supply potentials (–20, –50, –70, –100, –150 mm), and at the endpoints –20 and –150 mm, derived from the infiltration data following the method of Ankeny et al. (1991);
b) values for “Gardner’s alpha” at those same 6 supply potentials. This is the slope of the log-log relationship between the K and the supply potential (h), between two supply potentials, and at the endpoints; and
c) extrapolated values of the saturated Ks and the corresponding “Gardner’s alpha”.
