Important note: The dataset is updated daily under OpenData NRW! The group layer Biotopkataster can be selected in the Web Map Service Landscape Information Collection (WMS LINFOS) and shows the spatial location of the biotopes worthy of protection in North Rhine-Westphalia. As a rule, the coverage accuracy of the areas shown corresponds to the German basic map on a scale of 1: 5,000. Users of the biotope register are above all the landscape and forestry authorities, the biological stations, the road construction authorities and, last but not least, the interested specialist public, especially in the voluntary nature conservation associations.
