During this beamtime we seek to investigate the pressure-induced structural evolution, aiming to understand phase stability, potential symmetry changes, and correlated behavior in a high pressure and high temperature environment of the two compounds Bi2Ru2O7 and Bi3Ru3O11. Specifically, we expect to observe a change from suspected multivalent metal ions as a result of a small oxygen deficiency to a more highly ordered single valence structure.
