Dataset of cellular morphology and biophysical characterization of MagR homologs heterologously expressed in Escherichia coli

This dataset contains cellular morphology, biochemical properties, and biophysical characterization data of the MagR homologous gene after heterologous expression in E. coli. It mainly includes: (1) Morphological data: Microscopic image analysis was performed using a self-developed Python automated script to identify single-cell contours and measure length (the code has been open-sourced on GitHub); (2) Biochemical and physical characterization data: Data on the binding state of iron and iron-sulfur clusters characterized by Ferrozine, UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, and circular dichroism (CD), as well as magnetization curves of purified proteins measured based on SQUID.
