Insights into soil nematode diversity and microbiome of Thai Jasmine rice rhizosphere

Plant-parasitic nematodes (PPNs) cause severe crop losses worldwide. Consequently, it is important to understand the roles that the plant rhizosphere soil microbiome play during PPNs infection. The present study investigated the distribution of PPNs in the paddy fields of five provinces in Thailand, as well determining the keystone microbial taxa in response to environmental factors that could be considered in the development of efficient biological control strategies in agriculture.
