Village-level Ecological Resilience Index (ERI) dataset for the Yangtze River Delta (2003, 2008, 2013, 2018, 2023)

This dataset provides village-level Ecological Resilience Index (ERI) values for the Yangtze River Delta (YRD), China, for five benchmark years (2003, 2008, 2013, 2018, and 2023). The package includes five year-specific CSV files, a village boundary shapefile, a README file, and a variable dictionary. The ERI is a unitless composite index standardised to the 0–1 range, where higher values indicate higher ecological resilience. The CSV tables can be joined to the boundary shapefile using the field OBJECTID. The dataset supports analyses of spatial patterns, temporal dynamics, and functional-type differences in rural ecological resilience in the YRD, and provides a reproducible data basis for related research.
