De novo genome sequencing of Acer caesium.

Acer caesium is a keystone species in the north-western region of the Indian Himalayan Region which provides a range of economical and ecological importance. According to IUCN, it has been placed in the threatened category in The red data book due to its over-exploitation for domestic and industrial usage. Development of SSR markers in order to find the genetic diversity and population structure is highly in need for its conservation therefore a genomic sequence of this species is required.
