资源简介:
Experimental animals like ferret, marmoset, woodchuck, mini pig and tree shrew have been used in biomedical research recently. However, there were no comparative data of their gut microbiota. their gut microbiota were analyzed by 16s rRNA sequencing. And comparative analysis was performed between these animals and healthy human volunteers. More bacteria species were observed in mini pig, but more beta diversity exited in human being. Besides the common gut microbiota from phylum of Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes and Fusobacteria, ferret has more from Proteobacteria, while marmoset has more from Tenericutes, and mini pig has more from Spirochaetes. The ferret dominant genera are Fusobacterium and unidentified Clostridiales; Genera of Libanicoccus, Lactobacillus, Porphyromonas and Peptoclostridium were identified as the specific genus from animal species of marmoset, mini pig, woodchuck and tree shrew. Clustering tree analysis showed that overall distribution of microbial species in the gut might mirror the mammalian phylogeny. These primary results may contribute to better understanding of these animals in biomedical researches.
