The longitudinal and transverse components of the conductivity, Cl = λC,1 and Ct = (λC,2+λC,3)/2 were calculated from the eigenvalues (λC,1≥λC,2≥λC,3) of the reconstructed conductivity tensor. Effective isotropic conductivities of potato and agar backgrounds were calculated using the relation, [29] for potato and agar regions for comparison with impedance analyzer measurements.
