With the aim of investigating the responsible gene of Bombyx mori pink-eyed white egg mutant (pe), RNA-seq of Bombyx mori eggs at 0, 1, 2, 3 days post laying were conducted for strains p50T (genome sequencing strain, wild-type egg and eye color), C108 (wild-type egg and eye color strain), and e20(pink-eyed white egg mutant strain).
