Impact of chronic exposure to low doses of trichlorfon on intestinal microbiota in common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.)

Trichlorfon is a most widely used organophosphate pesticide in aquaculture. However, repeated and excess applications of trichlorfon often lead to water pollution and threaten human health. This study investigated the effects of low doses trichlorfon on intestinal microbiota of common carp after exposure to 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 mg/L trichlorfon for 4 weeks.
