This document delineates the cultivation zoning for Pinus elliottii Engelm. and Pinus taeda L. within China. It specifies the technical contents covering cultivation objectives of the two tree species, selection of afforestation varieties, seed and seedling, afforestation techniques, stand tending and management, pine resin tapping, prevention and control of major pests and diseases, final felling and regeneration, as well as file management. This document is applicable to the cultivation of planted forests of Pinus elliottii Engelm. and Pinus taeda L. within their suitable cultivation regions.
