Prevention and Control of COVID-19 Infection and Property Management: Evidence from Wuhan, China

Property enterprise has become a major player in the prevention and control of COVID-19, the functions were approbated of the urban residents using questionnaire. The paper collects detailed data of confirmed cases in 446 communities in Wuhan and uses the property fee to reflect the quality of property service. Then, we establish both the Binary Logit Model and the Ordered Logit Model to measure the impact of property fee on the community pandemic prevention and control efficiency. The results show that the higher the property fee, the better the service of property, and the greater the probability that the residential community is COVID -19 free. Furthermore, the higher the property fee, the better the pandemic prevention and control effect, and the lower the community pandemic risk level. In sum, the promotion of high-quality property service is conducive to the community prevention and control.
