STYLISTIC AND PRAGMATIC COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF ARTISTIC TRANSLATIONS PRODUCED BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND HUMAN TRANSLATORS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LITERARY TEXTS

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has significantly influenced the field of translation studies, particularly in the domain of literary translation, which traditionally requires high levels of creativity, cultural awareness, and pragmatic sensitivity. This article presents a comparative stylistic and pragmatic analysis of artistic translations produced by artificial intelligence systems and professional human translators based on English and Uzbek literary texts. The study aims to identify the extent to which AI-generated translations are capable of preserving stylistic expressiveness, pragmatic intention, and cultural connotations embedded in the source texts, in comparison with human-mediated translations.
