This dataset is systematically compiled based on 151 published literature worldwide from 1987 to 2025, integrating a total of 843 sets of independent observation data, covering typical positioning test points in global sandy soil areas. The data is sourced from the core databases of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Web of Science. It is obtained through multidimensional keyword search and screening. The data is extracted from literature charts using the Data Graph Digitizer software, and the original data is subjected to unit unification and standardization processing. The missing climate data (such as annual average temperature, annual precipitation, and aridity index) were supplemented and obtained from global databases such as WorldClim and Global Aridity Index based on the latitude and longitude of the experimental site. The dataset is stored in Excel format (. xlsx), with a data volume of 2.91 MB, including a core data table. Each row represents an independent experimental observation point, and the column variables cover geographic location, climate conditions, initial soil physicochemical properties, agronomic management measures, and the response values and statistical information of SOC and crop yield. The data has undergone strict secondary cross-checking and normality testing to ensure reliable quality. Some soil physicochemical and biological indicators are missing due to the lack of original literature, and have been marked in red in the data table. This dataset is suitable for multi-scale statistical analysis, providing a standardized and reusable data foundation for evaluating the ecological and agricultural effects of sandy soil improvement measures.
