This contribution provides two teaching approaches that we have developed to teach sustainable business modelling to Bachelor and Master students. First, we present a MOOC on developing “new business models” with a focus on practitioners in society. Second, we describe an institutional approach in which third-year students develop sustainable business models using a Hackathon as the teaching format.
