Description This dataset provides the supplementary analytical materials supporting the manuscript entitled Developing a Sustainable Pedagogical Framework for Generative AI and Student Creativity in Saudi Higher Education, submitted to Discover Sustainability (Springer Nature). The materials support a theory-driven conceptual study integrating a structured synthesis of 20 purposively selected scholarly publications published between 2023 and 2026 with a documentary analysis of Saudi educational policy. The dataset consists of two files: 1. Supplementary_Table_S1.docx — Study Characteristics Matrix This file documents the 20 publications included in the analytical corpus, providing bibliographic information, geographical and educational contexts, methodological designs, relevant findings, evidential qualifications, and connections to the proposed pedagogical framework. 2. Supplementary_Table_S2.docx — Evidence-to-Framework Derivation Matrix This file documents the theoretical and evidential foundations of the five framework dimensions, the derivation of five research propositions, the proposed five-stage instructional sequence, and the correspondence between framework components and selected Saudi Vision 2030 policy priorities. Methodological Note The research did not involve primary data collection, human participants, experimental interventions, or statistical modelling. The files represent structured secondary-evidence extraction, conceptual synthesis, and documentary policy mapping. They are provided to support transparency, traceability, and independent examination of the framework-development process.
