Prognostic Biomarkers for Enhanced Risk Stratification in Extraskeletal Myxoid Chondrosarcoma: A Retrospective Cohort Study

This retrospective cohort study aims to identify novel prognostic biomarkers for Extraskeletal Myxoid Chondrosarcoma (EMC), a rare soft tissue sarcoma characterized by high recurrence rates and limited predictive accuracy from current clinical tools. We employed RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) to analyze the gene expression profiles of EMC tumors. The primary objective is to discover and evaluate RNA-based molecular markers, particularly those reflecting immune pathway activation within the tumor microenvironment. This research seeks to enhance prognostic models and improve risk stratification, ultimately aiding in personalized treatment strategies for EMC patients.
