The purpose of the municipal activity statistics is to obtain annual data relating to the activity of the resident population in the Basque Country detailed at municipal level. In particular, it provides information on the employed, unemployed and inactive population and labour market characteristics such as the economic sector of activity. The realisation of this statistic is based on the treatment and the majority use of administrative sources, without direct collection of information.
