This dataset provides spatially distributed data on land use types in Shiqu County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province in 2010. It is vector data containing attribute fields such as land code and land type. The land types are classified at the second-level into paddy fields, dry farmlands, dense woodland, shrubland, sparse woodland, other forest lands, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glaciers and snowfields, tidal flats, flood lands, urban land, rural settlements, other construction land, sandy land, gobi, saline-alkali land, swamps, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Among them, cultivated land is categorized by landform into paddy fields and dry farmlands located in mountainous areas, hilly areas, plains, and slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees. The data scale is 1:100,000.
